Welcome to the Russian Lyceum
The Russian Lyceum in Sofia is a unique private educational and cultural institution that consists of:
- Kindergarten with early foreign language learning – English and Russian as well as additional courses of interest: choreography, music, art, literary art, sports
- Elementary and Secondary School with expanded preparation in foreign languages (English and Russian) from the 1st to 7th grade and advanced training from the 8th to 12th grade
- Dance School with training in "classical dance" – profession "ballet dancer" (admission after 4th grade) and "modern dance" – profession "dancer" (admission after 7th grade).

05-10-2014 The Russian Lyceum – Sofia is getting ready for its traditional holiday – The Lyceum Day. In that holiday there will be sports events too. On the 1st October the football team from the Lyceum met the football team from the Russian Embassy School and they played a friend’s match. The fans enjoyed a correct, intelligent and very emotional game. The strong sports emotions and wish for a victory, together with excellent ball leading and a good tactics made the event a real big pleasure. The winner was the team from the Russian Embassy School. 02-10-2014 October 1st has been declared The World Music Day by UNESCO and has been celebrated for 40 years now in countries all over the world. Scientists has proved the positive effect of music on the emotional development of children making them cleverer and more talented. Students from grades 5-11 in the Licee have celebrated the day and the music teacher Rumen Bonev presented the story of the origin and development of the art of music since the Middle ages..
