On 12, 13 and 14 October 2012 the students from the Russian Lyceum- Sofia took part in a festival of art schools from Sofia, whose slogan was “The art from tomorrow”. The festival was carried out on an open stage in 34’’Shipka”Street in Sofia. It was included in the frame of capital city’s programme “Culture”, that supports the nomination of Sofia for European cultural capital in 2019. The activity was carried out under the patronage of vice-president of Bulgaria Mrs Margarita Popova.
The participation of the students from the Lyceum was accompanied by the spectators’ applause. The main participation in the concert programme of art schools was of students of higher grades. When the pupils from primary grade of the Russian Lyceum went to the stage, they were received very warmly and affectionately.
The dance “Polka”, danced by the kids from the kindergarten Iren Harizanova, July Boteva and Alexander Kostov contributed to the cheerful spirit. With a storm of applause was received the dance “The Red Hat”, performed by the pupil from the first grade Irena Harizanova together with pupils from second and fourth grade.
The students from higher grades of the Lyceum took part with their favourite rhymes about nature, friendship, the Lyceum and of course about the beauty of ballet.
The classical ballet-miniature by Leonid Jacobson, with the music by Maskany, performed by Joys Dall, Maria Philibeva and Nina Lakichevich provoked spectators’ real admiration and applause. The thrilling dance “A bird”, performed by the young ballet dancer Ivana Harizanova excited the spectators and they sent the dancer with a lot of applause.
At the end, the dance “Ladybird”, that was with a new choreography, was performed with a lot of dynamics and cheerfulness by Vera Aspridy, Joys Dall, Devina Vasileva, Maria Philibeva and Nina Lakichevich. The concert programme of the students from the Russian Lyceum ended under the spectators’ applause.
