On 29th October in Moscow there was a thematic conference “Compatriots and their contribution to world’s culture”. 180 participants from 80 countries took part in the conference – people of culture, art, education, representatives of Russian constructive intellectuals out of the borders of Russia.
Russian commonwealth in Bulgaria was represented by Marina Dadikozian, Chairwoman of Co-ordinational council and Shara Karsakpaeva, Principal of the Russian Lyceum – Sofia. The Governmental commission for work with compatriots out of the borders of Russia, whose head is Sergey Lavrov, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Russia, awarded the Principal of the Russian Lyceum – Sofia with a diploma “For special contribution in studying, conserving and developing the Russian scientific, intellectual and cultural heritage”.
During the time of the conference Mrs Karsakpaeva had a personal meeting with the Vice – Minister of Education – Veniamin Kaganov. In the Federation Council Mrs Karsakpaeva was accepted by the Chairwoman of Science, Education and Culture Committee Zinaida Dragunkina and by the Chairman of International Affairs Committee Mihail Mergelov. In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mrs Karsakpaeva met the First Vice – Minister Vladimir Titov, ex- Ambassador of Russia in Bulgaria and Mihail Shvedskoy, Special Representative of the President of Russia in International Cultural Collaboration. In the Ministry of Culture she met the Director of the International Collaboration Department Sergey Obrivalin. On these meetings Shara Rahimovna Karsakpaeva told about the activities and prospects of the Russian Lyceum – Sofia and about future plans for supporting and developing Bulgarian-Russian relations in education, art and cultural area.
